Otago gold mine decision delayed again so groups can read new documents

A panel reviewing a $4.4 billion Otago gold mine proposal has paused it again, saying environmental groups must get time to read 600 new pages, including a report on how the mine would affect local communities. A draft decision is now expected late November, with a final call by 20 January 2027.
