Framework's 12-inch laptop-tablet hybrid now starts at $699 — $100 less than last year. It ships with a faster Intel processor, quicker memory, the latest Wi-Fi, and ports that can drive two high-res screens or external graphics cards. The base model runs Linux; adding Windows 11 costs $100 more. Preorders are open for October delivery.
