Hipkins rules out working with NZ First, citing 'overt racism'

Labour leader Chris Hipkins has ruled out working with New Zealand First in any government he leads, citing what he called "overt racism" from Winston Peters and the party. Hipkins said there was "not a single person" in Labour who disagreed. Peters had already ruled out working with Labour. The announcement follows a Taxpayers Union-Curia poll showing Labour at 27.8 percent.
