Democrat Troy Jackson has led three consecutive polls over Republican Sen. Susan Collins since securing his party's nomination, Newsweek reported August 6. A WGME survey the same day showed Jackson with a slight edge. Collins, seeking a sixth term, is the last Republican in New England's congressional delegation. The election is November 3, 2026.
