Google Open-Sources WeatherNext AI Cyclone Forecasting Model

Google has released code and model weights for WeatherNext, an AI model delivering 15-day cyclone track and intensity forecasts in under a minute on a single TPU. Trained on nearly 20 TB of atmospheric data, the model appears in Nature. The National Hurricane Center and UK Met Office contributed to its development.
