Ford Announces Fathom Electric Pickup at $28,350

Ford has unveiled the Fathom, a midsize electric pickup starting at $28,350 — roughly half the F-150 Lightning's price and Ford's first sub-$30,000 EV. Built on the new Universal EV platform, it enters production at Louisville Assembly Plant next year with deliveries before end of 2027. Pre-orders open early next year.
