FRED releases July Henry Hub spot pricing on August 5, 2026. Front-month futures (NGU26) closed at $2.685/MMBtu on August 4 — roughly $0.80 below the EIA's January forecast of just under $3.50 for full-year 2026. The July spot read, against a $2.95/MMBtu 2026 average so far (FRED), will show whether realized prices are converging toward the forecast or the lower futures curve.
