Samsung and Amazon Launch HDR10+ Advanced on Prime Video, a Streaming First

Samsung and Amazon are deploying HDR10+ Advanced streaming on Prime Video starting August 2026, making Prime Video the first global streaming platform to offer the format. The rollout is initially limited to Samsung's 2026 TV lineup. HDR10+ Advanced adds AI-powered tone mapping, scene-level brightness metadata, and dynamic motion processing to the royalty-free format Samsung co-developed.
