Curium to Acquire Lantheus for Up to $8 Billion in Cash Plus Contingent Payouts

Curium US Holdings has signed a definitive agreement to buy Lantheus Holdings for up to $8 billion, Reuters reported. Shareholders get $102.50 per share in cash at closing, plus contingent value rights worth up to $12 more per share if certain sales targets are met. The deal, announced August 3, 2026, marks a roughly 14% increase from Curium's initial ~$7 billion offer in May 2026.
