Trump's Freedom 250 received most of Congress's $150 million anniversary funding, not the bipartisan commission lawmakers created
Congress appropriated $150 million for America's 250th anniversary through the One Big Beautiful Bill Act, directing it to the National Park Service. Jeff Merkley has asked Interior Secretary Doug Burgum for details.
