Kedge launches stateful serverless platform with 3-millisecond VM spin-up

Kedge, a globally distributed platform for stateful serverless apps, launches from a former Fly.io engineer. Its VM orchestrator creates instances in 3 milliseconds using forkable VM snapshots, copy-on-write memory sharing, and warm-pool trees — targeting the cold-start latency that has constrained serverless since AWS Lambda. The preview runs across 11 regions; per-second billing on actual consumption is now listed at $15/vCPU-month, $5/GB-month for memory.
