Former Defence Minister Mapp questions credibility of Russia's spy arrest footage

Former Defence Minister Dr Wayne Mapp has questioned the credibility of FSB-released footage showing the arrest of a 55-year-old man in Khabarovsk, calling it "a prepared narrative" and citing possible "Russian disinformation." Security analyst Paul Buchanan and international law professor Al Gillespie separately expressed high scepticism of the Russian statements. The NZ government and SIS have refused to comment.
