Ridgeburn withdraws fast-track application for 1,210-house Arrowtown development

Ridgeburn Limited withdrew its fast-track application for a 1,210-house development near Arrowtown on 22 July 2026. Panel convener Jane Borthwick said the project was not ready for an expert panel due to "significant information gaps" flagged by local councils, including transport and environmental risk assessments. Ridgeburn had agreed to supply the outstanding information by 10 August. The developer can resubmit.
