Motorola Launches Free Android App for Ojibwe Language and Cultural Preservation
Motorola launched Indigenous Collections, a free Android app cataloging Ojibwe language, oral stories, landmarks, and family knowledge. Built with the Rainy Lake Ojibwe community — including Ojibwe instructor Jason Jones and Professor Anton Treuer of Bemidji State University — it is available to any Android user via the Google Play Store and distributes only publicly shared knowledge, keeping private material under community control.
