Oklahoma Influencer Had Granted Protective Order Days Before Murder-Suicide

Sara Gilson filed three protective orders against estranged husband Jeremiah Duffy over five years. Two were dismissed in 2021 when she failed to appear in court. The third was granted in July 2026, days before Duffy killed her and himself. Her application stated Duffy had threatened suicide and possessed a firearm. A protective order is a legal directive, not a physical barrier.
