Netflix agreed to cut Kalshi receipt from documentary but left it in the trailer

Netflix privately agreed to remove a Kalshi betting receipt from its upcoming documentary "Instadocs: The Prediction Games," set for release July 26, 2026, but refused to pull it from the promotional trailer. The receipt shows a May 2025 bet, displayed in a July 2026 Las Vegas context where Kalshi is now banned from operating in Nevada. Kalshi sent a cease-and-desist on July 24, threatening defamation. Netflix says no footage was fabricated.
