Iran Accuses US of Violating Hormuz Transit Agreement as Strikes Pause

Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi accused the US on July 25 of forcing open a new transit route through the Strait of Hormuz, violating a June 2026 memorandum of understanding that he says grants Tehran authority to set transit routes.
