EU gains US tariff edge over UK through forced-labour ban Britain hasn't passed

BBC economics editor Faisal Islam reported that the EU secured better US tariff treatment than the UK by passing a ban on forced-labour goods — legislation Westminster has not matched. British exporters now face additional tariffs on footwear and textiles. William Bain of the British Chambers of Commerce said EU firms now hold "a competitive advantage in some sectors."
