Trump Conditions U.S.-Saudi Nuclear Pact on Israel Recognition

President Trump stated on Truth Social that the newly signed U.S.-Saudi Arabia civil nuclear cooperation pact is conditional on Riyadh joining the Abraham Accords and formally recognizing Israel. Trump said the deal covers only non-military use with no enrichment of material. The Abraham Accords, brokered by Trump in 2020, normalized Israel-UAE and Israel-Bahrain ties.
