First U.S. Combat Deaths on Jordanian Soil in U.S.-Iran War

Two U.S. military personnel were killed in Jordan on July 17, 2026, while defending against an Iranian missile and drone attack — the first confirmed U.S. combat deaths on Jordanian soil since the U.S.-Iran war began in February 2026.
