Amazon Adds Text-Message Ordering to Alexa for Shopping

Amazon is rolling out a feature letting customers buy products by texting Alexa for Shopping, which appears in phones as "Amazon Alexa." A small group of US customers is invited first, with millions more planned in the coming weeks. Users describe an item or send a photo; the assistant searches Amazon listings and orders the chosen product on their behalf.
