Underdog has released Woof, an open-weights text-to-speech model of 32MB with 31 million parameters. The company says it runs on most devices without any internet connection, and the weights are open for anyone to download. A browser game at underdog.ai/escape lets users type on a typewriter and hear the text spoken back.
