xAI filed suit against Terry Wayne Harwood, 67, of South Carolina, alleging he repeatedly bypassed Grok's safeguards from December 2025 to February 2026 to generate nonconsensual sexualized deepfakes of adults and minors. Reuters reports this is one of the first cases of an AI company suing its own user over model misuse. Harwood faces separate criminal charges.
