Ubisoft Says No Other Assassin's Creed Remake Is in Active Development

Ubisoft says it currently has no other Assassin's Creed remake in active development. The statement accompanies the close of support for Black Flag Resynced, whose final major update, 1.0.8, added New Game+ and Nightmare Difficulty. Its teams are focused on unannounced projects with new settings and stories; no titles, platforms or release windows have been named.
