Readwise Books Logs Kindle Reading Progress by Photographing Pages

Readwise has launched Readwise Books, a beta book-buying and reading platform available by invitation or to existing Readwise subscribers. Its Kindle sync logs progress on Amazon-purchased books by taking pictures of each reading session's starting and ending pages. Readwise states its long-term goal is to get people to buy from Readwise instead of Kindle.
