FBI Arrests Ex-OpenAI Employee Accused of Bugging Executive Conference Room

The FBI arrested former OpenAI product employee Abdulrahman Alfozan for allegedly planting a hidden recording device in an executive conference room in San Francisco. OpenAI discovered the device and alerted the bureau. Alfozan, who joined in July 2025, was fired and arrested Oct. 9 on a charge of intercepting oral communications.
