70 Moab 240 runners, volunteers evacuated after Canyonlands flooding

About 70 runners and volunteers in Utah's Moab 240 were evacuated Oct. 11 after floodwaters from the remnants of Tropical Storm Rachel stranded them overnight at a race station in Canyonlands National Park. Race host Destination Trail said all were safe and accounted for after shuttles coordinated with the sheriff's office reached them.
