The Social Reckoning Opens to Estimated $5.5 Million, Below Projections

Aaron Sorkin's The Social Reckoning, his follow-up to The Social Network about Frances Haugen and the Facebook Files, earned an estimated $5.5 million domestically in its opening weekend ending Oct. 11, below the studio's $7 million to $8 million projection. The original opened to $22 million.
