Budhi Gandaki Flood Sweeps Away Houses, Bridges in Nepal's Gorkha

The Budhi Gandaki River flooded in central Gorkha district, Nepal, on Oct. 11, sweeping away about a dozen houses and several suspension bridges, Nepal's disaster authority said. Part of a hydropower station was damaged, with construction equipment carried away. The cause remains unclear.
