Apple Cuts iPhone 18 Pro Component Orders 15%-20% on Soft Demand

Apple told suppliers to cut component production for iPhone 18 Pro and Pro Max after October orders fell 15% to 20% on soft demand, Nikkei Asia reported Oct. 9. The cut came weeks after the Sept. 18 store launch. I’m watching whether this is early channel-fill calibration or a weaker Pro cycle for suppliers.
