
Tom Watson warns ministers over Palantir contracts, cites "mob rule" risk
Former Labour deputy leader Tom Watson, now Palantir senior vice-president, said UK ministers could get themselves "in a lot of trouble" if contract decisions follow "mob rule". Speaking on BBC's Political Thinking with Nick Robinson, he defended procurement rules. The test will be whether process arguments calm scrutiny of Palantir's NHS and defence work.
