National proposes $431.2m foreign aid cut to fund $604m Pharmac boost
National has proposed cutting development aid by $431.2 million over four years to lift Pharmac's medicines budget by $604 million if it leads the next government. The party says Pacific aid would be protected, with savings from elsewhere and administration costs. It says reduced aid spending would also fund cancer screening.
