Apple: Affected iPhone 18 Pro Max devices require hardware replacement

Apple says iPhone 18 Pro Max units that lost AT&T cellular service in the US cannot be restored by software update or restore and require hardware replacement. Apple directs owners to contact Apple Support or AT&T for a replacement.
