Back-to-Back Magnitude 7 Earthquakes Kill 164 in Venezuela, Death Toll Rising

Twin earthquakes—7.2 and 7.5 magnitude—struck Yaracuy state near San Felipe on June 24, 160 km west of Caracas, less than a minute apart.
