Android Central lays off all remaining full-time staff

All remaining full-time staff at Android Central were laid off on Oct. 1, 2026. Managing editor Derrek Lee and senior content producer Nicholas Sutrich confirmed the cuts. Editor-in-chief Shruti Shekar and senior editor Harish Jonnalagadda also posted publicly. Owner Future said it will continue publishing the Android-focused blog.
