About 700 Israelis entered Al-Aqsa compound under police escort on Sept. 30

About 700 Israelis entered the Al-Aqsa Mosque compound in occupied East Jerusalem on September 30, 2026, under Israeli police protection, Jerusalem's Islamic Waqf Department said. The group included former lawmaker Moshe Feiglin. The entry occurred on the fifth day of Sukkot, which runs September 26 to October 2.
