Met sends Grenfell files on 54 people and 20 organisations to prosecutors

The Metropolitan Police has sent evidence on 54 individuals and 20 companies and organisations to the Crown Prosecution Service for charging decisions over the 14 June 2017 Grenfell Tower fire in North Kensington that killed 72 people. Police called it a 'milestone moment'. Possible offences include corporate and gross negligence manslaughter, the Guardian reported.
