
UK Q2 2026 growth revised up to 0.5%, topping G7 for first half
The Office for National Statistics revised UK growth for April-June 2026 to 0.5% from 0.4%, with January-March unchanged at 0.6%. That left Britain top of the G7 for the first half. Services rose 0.5%; production was flat. The data, released 30 September, lands ahead of Chancellor John Healey's first budget, with inflation at 3.1%.
