Bardella denies antisemitism report, alleges total war on National Rally

Far-right National Rally head Jordan Bardella on Sept. 29, 2026 denied a Mediapart report that he wrote antisemitic messages in 2013-2015, calling it false. Facing resignation calls from opponents, he claimed a "total war" against his party and accused Mediapart of wanting to "kill my political career." He filed defamation complaints. Mediapart says it authenticated the messages.
