Myanmar Airstrike Kills 49 at Market in Rebel-Held Kyauktaw

The Arakan Army says Myanmar fighter jets bombed near a civilian market in opposition-held Kyauktaw, Rakhine State, around noon Sept. 28. The Sept. 29 toll puts dead at 49 and injured at 58. Verification will be difficult, with access limited and control contested.
