DRC Ebola outbreak passes 8,000 cases, deadliest in country's history

DRC's public health institute reported 8,067 Ebola cases and 3,901 deaths on Sept 28, making it the country's 17th and worst Ebola outbreak. The Bundibugyo strain has no approved vaccine or treatment. WHO says outbreak is "far from over" and Africa CDC says it remains "not under control."
