Starship's first orbit cut short after engine failure

SpaceX's Starship suffered an engine failure on ascent during its Sept. 28 first attempt to circle the planet from Starbase, Texas. Controllers still reached orbit at about 171 miles. SpaceX revised the planned six orbits over nearly 10 hours to an early return about three hours after liftoff. I expect fresh scrutiny of its reusability.
