UN Adds 61 Companies to Israeli Settlements Database

The UN human rights office added 61 companies to its database of firms linked to Israeli settlements in the occupied West Bank, citing alleged Palestinian rights violations. The list now totals 214 companies in 11 countries, mostly Israeli. UN chief Volker Türk said the report reminds firms of due diligence duties. Companies were notified and given a right of reply.
