Kirill Nguyen, Belarusian founder of the 480,000-follower Lady Gaga fan account GagaDaily, resumed posting in September 2026 after his release from prison in Belarus in April 2026. Sentenced on May 10, 2024 for joining protests in Minsk, he spent more than two years behind bars. Even distant pop-culture corners can fall silent under domestic prosecution.
