Burnham sets zero Channel crossings goal after 781 arrivals in a day

Prime Minister Andy Burnham said his goal is to see no Channel small-boat crossings at all. He spoke after 781 migrants in 10 boats were recorded arriving across the English Channel on Wednesday, the highest daily total so far this year. He said Brexit hampered the UK's ability to stop arrivals by reducing collaboration with neighbours.
