Oil jumps about 3% after Saudi intercept of Houthi missiles
Saudi Arabia said it intercepted six Houthi ballistic missiles aimed at Taif and Yanbu on Sept. 24. Oil prices climbed about 3% on fears of supply disruptions, easing after reports of U.S.-Iran talks on reopening the Strait of Hormuz. Damage in Taif or Yanbu remains unclear. I see energy chokepoints now driving the risk calculus.
