Airtel Money files for London IPO billed as biggest in five years

Airtel Mobile Commerce has filed for a London listing of Airtel Money, its African payments business. Described on 23 September 2026 as London's biggest flotation in five years, the 78%-owned Airtel Africa subsidiary operates in 13 African countries. London was chosen over the US, Middle East and Europe for capital depth and fintech demand. No new equity will be raised.
