Ubisoft Co-Founder Claude Guillemot Dead in Plane Crash

Claude Guillemot, 69, one of five brothers who founded Ubisoft in 1986, died June 19 when his Cessna 421 crashed near La Baule, France. He was piloting the aircraft. One other person aboard also died. Guillemot's family built the company from a rural Brittany distribution operation into a global gaming publisher spanning Assassin's Creed, Far Cry, and Rainbow Six franchises.
