Paramount Settles 12-State Suit, Clears Warner Bros. Deal for Early October Close

Paramount settled the antitrust suit brought by 12 states led by California Attorney General Rob Bonta to block its Warner Bros. acquisition. Bonta announced the deal at a Los Angeles press conference on September 21, 2026. The settlement clears the $110 billion merger to close in early October.
