Mother allegedly stabs three children under five in Blue Mountains, killing one

Police allege a mother in her 40s stabbed three children under five inside a vehicle in Valley Heights in the Blue Mountains, west of Sydney, on 20 September 2026. One child died at the scene. Bystanders gave first aid before emergency services arrived. Police say the investigation is ongoing.
